Looking further into drawing

Drawing can be expressed in a whole number of ways with a whole number of materials. These materials include Charcoal, Graphite, Pastels, Inked brushes, Crayons, Pens, Ink, Felt Tips and many more things. I love drawing as an art form because it cannot really be pinned down to a certain date, it has always seemed to exist. I love the idea that anyone can express themselves, even captain cave-man.

So many great artists have come and gone such as Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Goya, Picasso and Escher. These artist have produced some astonishing works of art, such as "Relativity" or "Drawing hands" to Leonardo's sketches.

As you can tell I favor sketchier or surreal looking drawings, However I recently came across a artist called Paul Cadden who manages to replicate photographs with a 2B pencil. Here is some of his astonishing works of art.

This artists spends 6 weeks on each piece and  produces only 7 pieces of artwork a year, however he manages to sell each piece off for £5000.
